Help Shape the Future of Museum Education – Fill Out Our Survey!

As part of the European project TOWCHED – Transforming Our World: Collections at the Heart of Life-long Learning and Education, we are currently conducting a survey to collect information on how museum and art collections are being used in educating children and youth for sustainable development.

TOWCHED aims to demonstrate that museums can play a vital role in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by integrating them into collections-based educational practices. The focus is on lifelong learning—from early childhood education (ages 5–7) to youth education (ages 15–24)—in both formal and non-formal learning environments.

You can learn more about the project TOWCHED here.

We invite you to complete our anonymous survey and contribute to this important research!

Whether you are already implementing collection-based educational activities or are simply considering how to introduce them into your future practices, your experience, ideas, and insights are highly valuable.

This survey aims to gather information on how museum collections across Europe are currently utilized in education, learning, and participatory activities that contribute to sustainable development topics. The survey also collects information on experiences in implementation, collaboration and evaluation of these activities.

Fill out the survey here.

The survey is available in English, French, German, Greek, Latvian, Serbian and Spanish.

Your participation will help us develop practical tools and models that enable museums, educators, and communities to work together in educating the next generation for a more sustainable and inclusive world.

Education for Sustainable Development is a lifelong, social learning process that empowers individuals and communities with the knowledge, values, and skills needed to make responsible choices for the well-being of people, the planet, and our shared future.
